With the opening of a new office at the Air Support Command (ASC) on Woensdrecht Air Base and a new warehouse at Business Park Aviolanda, HIVE partner OneLogistics has taken an important next step in further strengthening its logistics services for defense and aerospace clients. At the same time, this expands the logistics capabilities of the Hive Aerospace Collective, our civil-military ecosystem within which the ASC, OneLogistics, and Aviolanda, among others, collaborate as partners.

With its new facility at the ASC, part of Royal Netherlands Air and Space Force (RNLASF), OneLogistics is strengthening its position in providing logistical support for their weapon systems, including the F-35. In close collaboration with the ASC, OneLogistics can contribute long-term and even more effectively to the military capability, scalability, and sustainment of the RNLASF. The signing of a framework agreement earlier this year between the ASC and eight civilian organizations within HIVE, including OneLogistics, facilitates this collaboration.

Logistics and supply chain management are essential enablers for the armed forces. Based on this understanding, OneLogistics uses its core competencies to make a tangible contribution to the availability, robustness, and continuity of operational support. The new warehouse at Business Park Aviolanda also offers a significant competitive advantage for customers in the aerospace and defense sectors based in the Netherlands and at Business Park Aviolanda. The combination of a strategic location, collaboration within the HIVE ecosystem, and specialized logistics capacity creates a stronger foundation for maintenance, support, and growth.

Ivo van der Vlis, Managing Director of Aviolanda commented: “I consider OneLogistics’ expansion to Aviolanda as an important milestone in the development of both our business park and the entire civil-military HIVE ecosystem.” René de Koning, CEO of OneLogistics, adds: “With this expansion, we are not only strengthening our physical presence, but above all our contribution to a future-proof logistics chain for defense and aerospace. Together with our partners, we are building sustainable logistics capabilities.”

The opening of both facilities emphasizes OneLogistics’ ambition to be a reliable, flexible, and strategic partner for critical defense and aerospace operations.
