HIVE Aerospace Collective – We maintain the future. With this new brand name and pay-off, Business Park Aviolanda and Woensdrecht Air Base are opting for a clear and joint (inter)national positioning as a civil-military Aerospace MRO&U cluster. Together, we make up an ecosystem where government, industry, educational institutions and the Royal Netherlands Air Force join closely collaborate to maintain the future of civil and military aviation. This future is not just important for global mobility and the economy. It is essential to the Air Force’s mission of protecting what we hold dear.
Close civil-military collaboration is the foundation of HIVE. To ensure that aircraft and helicopters can continue to fly, we operate together. Not only in the areas of training and aircraft maintenance, but also to make progress on important issues such as sustainability, human capital and innovation. Working closely with industry is also a prerequisite for the Air Force’s ability to provide the air power that is needed at any given time.
The brand has been developed to build recognition and attract key target groups. These are primarily new students, potential employees and innovative companies with complementary capabilities. To further develop our cluster and maintain the future of aerospace, we need all of them.
Bees are vital to human survival. The hive is the place from which they work together to secure our future. The choice of the name HIVE Aerospace Collective reflects the power of a collaborative community, joining forces to sustain the future of aerospace. With the launch of HIVE Aerospace Collective, the Aviolanda Aerospace brand will disappear. The name Business Park Aviolanda will still be used though, for both the location of the civilian part of the cluster and the company dealing with park management and real estate development. The new HIVE brand is additional branding for the cluster as a whole; each individual organization retains its own identity.
The brand launch of HIVE Aerospace Collective took place January 15 during a symposium at Business Park Aviolanda on civil-military cooperation.
