During a joint visit to the Royal Netherlands Air Force Military School (KMSL) at Woensdrecht Air Base, representatives of the Air Force and various organizations at Business Park Aviolanda, together with Mayor Steven Adriaansen of Woensdrecht Municipality, signed a manifesto for close cooperation on the Human Capital Agenda. With this, those involved recognize that the most important success factor within the joint civil-military Aerospace MRO&U cluster is sufficient and qualified personnel; a goal that can only be achieved through joint activities and effort.
The manifesto lists a number of concrete themes on which cooperation will take place:
- Up-to-date Human Capital Agenda: joint objectives in the field of education, training and working in line with new trends, techniques, technologies and aircraft.
- Develop initiatives for civil-military personnel exchange and flexible working; remove barriers
- Educate and train together
- Promote student and staff recruitment for the cluster as a whole
A Human Capital steering committee and working group are active within the cluster to set and implement the joint agenda.
